Peter Winn, WG’98, G’98, is the founder and CEO of Talent Education Group, one of China’s fastest-growing education companies. Talent Academy operates a growing network of international preschools and children’s activity centers as well as China’s largest summer-camp program. From 2014 to 2016, Peter served as board director of EIC Education, China’s largest overseas study advisory group, which successfully places more than 35,000 students a year in top universities globally; it was acquired in 2014 by CVC Capital.
Peter is the founder and former president of EF Professional English (China) a division of EF Education, the largest English-language training company in China. During his time at EF, the company grew from a startup to one of China’s most recognized consumer brands, with more than 100,000 students and schools in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and hundreds of other cities across the country.
In his more than 20 years of experience in China, Peter has held positions with McKinsey & Company, Morgan Stanley, Asian Strategic Investment Corporation, and The Wharf (Holdings). He holds a BA from Princeton University and MBAs from Penn and Wharton and speaks Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese.
