Claire Cao Fang, WG’14, is a consumer marketer and serial entrepreneur. She was formerly managing director at Rocket Internet, building consumer internet startups in China and Africa. Prior to that, Claire worked for Adidas Global Marketing, Nike Greater China Brand Marketing, and 4A agency BBDO. In 2014, she started Wholly Moly!, a venture-backed, fast-growing consumer goods company that innovates packaged foods and promotes healthy diets among a new generation of Chinese consumers.
Claire holds a BA from Fudan University’s School of Journalism, an MS from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign’s School of Communications, and an MBA from Wharton, where she majored in finance and entrepreneurial management.
Claire is an adventurist who has worked and lived in five continents and visited all seven. She is an outdoor sports enthusiast who has led Wharton venture teams through Antarctica and the Atacama Desert.
