Lin-Lin Zhou, WMP’94, is chief executive officer and cofounder of Principle Capital, a Shanghai-based private equity and buyout firm positioning as a strategic investor and focusing on China’s advanced industrials, business services, health care, and consumers. Principle Capital was founded in 2002 and manages both US$ and RMB funds. Prior to founding Principle Capital, Dr. Zhou was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company in New York and Shanghai and served as president of Nasdaq-listed Digital Video System, Inc. Dr. Zhou earned operational experience through previous senior executive positions at global chemical company Rohm & Haas. In addition to his MBA from Wharton, he holds a PhD in chemistry from the University of Maryland and a BA in chemistry from Fudan University.
